Description
This 3 hour hands on class will introduce you to blacksmithing and working with hot iron to make a pair (2) of wine glass holders. You will learn techniques like drawing out, bending, scrolling, and more to create a pair of wine glass holders for your garden that you get to take home and show your friends!
We will also cover correct hammer technique, and use of anvils, vises, tongs, as well as custom jigs made by a blacksmith.
This outdoor wine glass holder is perfect for your next outdoor occasion. Safely holds your favorite wine glass wherever you may want to stick it. I love taking mine to the garden in summer evenings where I can sip and weed the garden without spilling my favorite drink.
You can also use these hand forged garden stakes to hold a candle in a nice glass.
The class is open to students of all skill levels and each class is limited to 6 students. Please note that classes are co-ed unless otherwise indicated.
